Fix Harrisburg Virtual Rally

If you can’t attend the January 3 rally in person, participate in the Fix Harrisburg Virtual Rally between January 2 and January 3rd to tell your legislators not to vote their ability to represent you away!

Make a phone call (or two or three). Write an email (or two or three) and post your thoughts on social media. Ask your friends to do the same.

If no one is in the legislator’s office when you call, leave a message!

Here’s a script that you can adapt and customize for either email or a phone call:

Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m calling from [TOWN].

I am calling to ask you to

• Vote NO on House and Senate resolutions that take away your right to represent us. Demand rules that ensure bipartisan solutions get a vote in committee, on the floor and in both chambers.
• And vote NO on any package of rules you haven’t had time to read and review

When you call or email, please log your call so we have a record of contacts with legislators!

Help spread the word on whatever social media platform you’re on, using the hashtag #FixHarrisburg.

The virtual rally will start Monday at noon, January 2, with a short livestream update on FairDistrictsPA Facebook. Like, share and add comments or look for other Fix Harrisburg posts and share them on your own Facebook page.

The actual rally will be livestreamed at 11 am, January 3, on both FairDistrictsPA Facebook and FairDistrictsPA YouTube. Like and share either of those and add comments. The more activities posts receive the more visible they’ll remain for others who might be interested.

Senate and House sessions will begin at noon on January 3.

Instagram: Like, share and follow FairDistrictsPA Instagram posts. TikTok: like, share and follow on the new FIxHarrisburg TikTok account.

Create your own posts as well. Tag the FDPA accounts and use the hashtag #FixHarrisburg. Samples: PA legislative rules block collaboration and bipartisan solutions. Ask PA legislators to vote NO on rules that take away their right to represent us. #FixHarrisburg
